FELUWA recently completed a compact and mobile pumping solution for a customer in the hard metal industry.
This involved designing a FELUWA MULTISAFE SGL – 1 DS 1 pump specifically for handling carbide suspensions, with the pump mounted on a mobile trolley.
In the small pump segment, there is increasing demand for mobile solutions. In this application, the pump is used to feed different spray dryers flexibly – not simultaneously, but with quick and easy changeover capability.
The wetted parts are made of 1.4571 stainless steel, and the diaphragm material is nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR). The mobile trolley is made of carbon steel with a durable C5 coating for harsh environmental conditions.
This example shows how FELUWA can individually customise the dimensions and design to meet specific customer requirements.
