Svanehoj expands Benelux network with H&K Services acquisition

ITT Inc’s Svanehoj has strengthened its marine service and aftersales operations in the Benelux region through the acquisition of H&K Services BV, a Netherlands-based specialist in the repair and servicing of marine fuel and cargo gas pumps.H&K Services will operate under the Svanehoj EPS name from its existing facility in Stellendam, the Netherlands, close to Svanehoj’s regional service hub in Oud Gastel. The move forms part of Svanehoj’s wider strategy to expand its global service and aftersales network and improve support for customers in key maritime markets.

In recent years, Svanehoj has invested heavily in strengthening its international service footprint, aiming to provide faster and more proactive support for shipowners and shipyards worldwide. H&K Services brings decades of experience in measurement, control, and technical services for industrial and maritime applications, as well as established expertise in Svanehoj deepwell pump systems.

“H&K Services brings strong expertise in cargo and fuel gas pumps, including in-depth knowledge of Svanehoj deepwell products, and they already have a deep understanding of the technology, applications, and the customers we serve,” says Søren Kringeholt Nielsen, Group CEO, Svanehoj.

The acquisition follows Svanehoj’s purchase of European Pumps Services (EPS) BV in Oud Gastel last year, which now serves as the company’s main Benelux service hub. As the official distributor and service provider for two other major ITT brands, Bornemann and Goulds Pumps, Svanehoj EPS delivers turnkey solutions, backed by in-house engineering and project management capabilities. H&K Services will be integrated into Svanehoj EPS under managing director Frank Hansen, while continuing operations from Stellendam to support overhaul work for large pumps.

“H&K’s engineers have deep technical expertise in both Svanehoj pumps and other marine pump brands. They will strengthen our pump service business and help us meet growing demand for maintenance and repair services from both new and existing customers,” says Hansen.
